FPGA Mining Card - BCU 1525

FPGA Mining Card For Sale

The original group buy 0f BCU 1525 mining card for sale organized on fpga.land and mineority.io has some extra stock due to pre-sale miners requesting refunds.  Currently there is no confirmed delivery date, as the mining card manufacturers claim there is a shortage in components for the BCU1525.  As a result, there will be about 800 x BCU1525 (technical details here) available for pre-order in the coming weeks.

Update from fpga.land owner

FPGA Mining Card Price

For those of you who don't mind the delay + wait, you can add yourself to the waitlist to get an alert when the returned mining card units become available for presale again.  There is no confirmation on price, so we are unsure if it will remain the original $3200 - $3600 USD a piece.

https://www.research.net/r/CZPLCGM if you fill out this survey you will be added to the waitlist/update list if there is additional availability or another group buy.

The BCU1525's are being fulfilled by Xilinx North America, and are delayed in manufacturing with no firm shipping date.  Xilinx who is responsible for sourcing components and delivering these mining card boards cannot find key component for the newly designed BCUs.

In parallel, we've been negotiating with the Asia Pacific branch of AVNet (one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components) organizing a group buy of the standard VCU1525.

Earlier this month Xilinx more than DOUBLED the price of VCU1525's to $7995 USD each.  Thus a group buy is the only method for securing reasonable prices and favorable lead times for everyone.

We're trying our best to negotiate a better price and lead time, so stay tuned for updates.

Best,
